Hand-woven in Chanderi, a weaving town in Ashoknagar district of Madhya Pradesh. The cotton here is fine, lightweight, slightly sheer — the kind that breathes through April. The block prints are stamped one motif at a time, by hand. The kantha — small running-stitches you only see up close — was added after the prints, in a second slow pass over the fabric.
